SC Cyber 2018 Awards of Excellence Announced
EDTS Cyber LLC receives award for SC Cyber Award of Excellence for industry at the 2018 Cybersecurity Summit.
CHARLESTON, SC - May 24, 2018 – SC Cyber announced today the recipients of the 2018 SC Cyber Awards for Excellence. Award recipients in three categories – Industry, Government, and Academia -- were honored at the SC Cyber 2018 Summit held on May 24th at the Francis Marion Hotel. Recipients of the SC Cyber Award of Excellence must have a demonstrated commitment to advance talent, techniques, and tools required to defend critical, connected infrastructure in South Carolina and across the United States.
“Each of today’s award winners has proven a commitment to excellence that they have demonstrated throughout the year,” said Tom Scott, Executive Director of SC Cyber. “For EDTS, not only has their team has constantly been at the forefront of helping small and medium-sized businessed address cybersecurity, but they have also been instrumental in strengthening the cybersecurity posture of local governments. In our Excellence in Government category, City Manager Todd Glover has shown through his leadership that the City of North Augusta can be a cybersecurity leader when it comes to community investment and economic development. ECPI University has been a strong leader in providing students with valued educational and experiential learning opportunities. Congratulations to them on their recent announcement of being named a National Security Agency Center of Academic Excellence!"
EDTS Cyber, LLC, an Augusta, Georgia-based cyber security consulting and managed security provider, received the SC Cyber Award of Excellence for Industry at the 2018 Cybersecurity Summit.
