|Why Be A Member?|
SC Cyber is temporarily not accepting new memberships due to restructuring.
Colloquially, it is best described as a consortium
of participating members spanning
all levels of academia, industry, and government
to include institutions, agencies,
companies small and large,
nonprofit and community organizations,
and individuals with ties to the security of our state.
To this end, SC Cyber has created a structure
by which companies and other organizations
and institutions can become members
of SC Cyber. By leveraging the
South Carolina Research Foundation, a 501(c)3
affiliated with USC, SC Cyber is able to collect
and manage discretionary funding
from donations and membership fees by
Founded in 2016, SC Cyber was created to strengthen
South Carolina's cyber ecosystem and
its related components through workforce
development, education, research, and protection
of the state's critical infrastructure.
